The collaboration between Pekotek Oy and Process Genius Oy through WhiteLabeling allows Pekotek’s end customers to benefit from cost savings and predictive maintenance capabilities provided by the 3D Digital Twin

Pekotek Oy, a Finnish company specializing in industrial surface treatment systems and equipment, is consistently enhancing its solutions to improve production efficiency for its customers. A key cost concern for their customers is the absence of predictive maintenance. To address this issue, we began exploring the Genius Core 3D Digital Twin platform and its predictive maintenance capabilities together.

Pekotek was the first to implement the Genius Core platform. It consolidates all essential data from various manufacturing systems and sensors into a single interface. The platform simplifies predictive maintenance planning and helps eliminate production downtime. The savings produced led to the concept of White Label collaboration, where Process Genius serves as the technology provider for the platform. This collaboration also allows Pekotek’s end customers to utilize the platform.

The customer can access key information in a single visual layer, enhancing the efficiency of daily management. The schedule for maintaining various assets is well-defined, and the requirements for the essential spare parts are also understood. Pekotek also observes comparable data, enabling the development of collaboration.

Weckman Oy has been the most recent Pekotek’s customer to decide on acquiring a new painting solution and a 3D Digital Twin.

This may lead to unanticipated maintenance issues and, as a result, disruptions in production. Piirainen states that the most significant advantage of the Genius Core platform is its predictive maintenance capabilities.

Production halts, which in the worst cases could last for weeks, can be avoided with preventive maintenance. One can keep a watch on a particular area proactively and save a lot of money by knowing when filters need to be replaced and by tracking critical condition data in real-time.
