Q: Could you name some key numbers related to our economic performance, external visibility, and marketing efforts this year?
Jani Akkila: Sure! This year, our Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) saw an impressive growth of +80%, which really speaks to the trust our customers have in us and the increasing demand for our solutions.
When it comes to visibility, we were thrilled to actively participate in over 15 events across Europe, showcasing our expertise and innovations in manufacturing technology. On top of that, our experts were featured as keynote speakers or panelists in over 10 events, which really helped to solidify our reputation as thought leaders in the industry.
Lastly, our online presence made great strides. We recorded over 21,000 website visitors this year, a 39% increase compared to 2023. This growth shows the rising interest in our solutions and the impact of our efforts to engage with a broader audience.
Q: How would you summarize the achievements of the product and development team in 2024?
Jani Akkila: Our product and development team had a really busy and successful year in 2024! A few facts to mention:
- Feature Releases: We released 45 new features this year, more than double the 21 features we launched in 2023. It’s a big jump that reflects how much effort we’ve put into delivering value to our customers.
- Ideas to Reality: We turned 13 ideas into fully realized solutions, a 44% increase compared to last year. It’s always exciting to see concepts evolve into tools that make a real difference.
- Creative Investment: We invested over 3,000 hours in brainstorming, designing, building, and launching new ideas. That dedication from the team really shows in the quality of what we delivered.

Q: What made our solution stand out for customers this year? Why did they choose Genius Core in 2024?
Jani Akkila: Well, our focus has always been on helping factories work smarter, and this year was no different. Here’s probably a few thing to mentions, what made us stand out:
- Simple and Clear Data Visualization: Customers loved how easy our dashboards made it to understand their operations. The visuals weren’t just pretty—they helped teams act faster and make better decisions.
- Real-Time Data: Having up-to-the-minute updates on production lines and maintenance meant our customers could respond quickly to any changes.
- A Complete View of Production: Our tools gave them a full picture of their production process, making it easier to spot trends and improve performance.
- Improved Safety and Quality: The integrated safety and quality tools helped companies keep their workers safe and meet regulations without extra hassle.
- Easier Maintenance: Managing maintenance became a breeze. Customers saved time, reduced downtime, and kept everything running smoothly.
- Task Tracking Made Simple: Real-time tracking of tasks kept everyone accountable and on top of things. Problems got solved before they turned into big issues.

Q: Could you tell us what were the main and most popular systems we integrated data from this year? How did it affect our customers’ productivity?
Jani Akkila: Integrations were a big deal for us this year. They really helped our customers connect their systems and get the insights they needed to improve. Most common ones are probably:
- IRP Integrations: We combined real-time factory data with workforce and machine tracking. This made it easier for customers to boost productivity and ensure safety.
- SAP General Integrations: By linking ERP systems with operational data it enabled better forecasting, resource allocation, and reporting. It saved a lot of time and effort.
- HSEQ Data Management: Bringing health, safety, environment, and quality data into one place made compliance and improvements much simpler.
- AMS (Asset Management System): Customers used this to better manage their assets, like tracking maintenance and cutting down on downtime.
- AI and Machine Learning: These tools helped predict issues before they happened and optimize processes, which saved money and made operations smoother.
Overall, these integrations made everything more connected, efficient, and easier to manage for our customers. On top of that, the ability to monitor and adjust production lines from anywhere in the world gave factory managers incredible flexibility. With advanced data insights, they could better plan capacity and quickly adjust in real time to improve performance.
Looking Ahead: Our Vision for 2025-2026
Q: What is your vision for the future, and how will Process Genius continue to advance in the coming years?
Jani Akkila: For 2025-2026, our focus is clear: to create a unified, transparent, and dynamic ecosystem for factory operations and smarter decision-making. We call it “Unified Clarity, Empowered Decisions.” I would name 3 main directions to focus on:
- Unified Information Hub: We want to build a central platform where all critical factory and operational data can be displayed in real-time. This hub will give everyone—from floor workers to stakeholders—a clear view of the entire value chain.
- Big Picture with Deep Dive Capabilities: Our digital twin technology will take things to the next level, creating a virtual representation of the factory. This allows predictive analytics, optimization, and better planning, so our customers can see both the big picture and zoom in on the details.
- Enhanced Digital Twin Integration: By leveraging AI and machine learning, we’ll continue to push the boundaries of predictive maintenance and process optimization. Our goal is to ensure that every operation runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering maximum value to our customers.
